Five signs it is time to call a plumber, not wait

June 5, 2024 · 4 min read

Most of the expensive jobs we get called for started as something small and ignored. Here are the signs that mean it is time to pick up the phone.

Water stains on a ceiling or wall mean a leak above, and they rarely fix themselves. A drop in water pressure across the whole house can point to a failing line or a hidden leak. Both are worth a look before the damage spreads.

Gurgling drains and slow drains in more than one fixture often mean a problem in the main line, not just a clog under one sink. A sewer smell in the basement is another one not to ignore.

Finally, watch your water bill. A jump with no change in habits usually means water is going somewhere it should not. If you see one of these, call us. Catching it early is almost always cheaper than waiting.
