An oil or gas boiler runs all winter. Soot builds on the heat exchanger, the burner drifts out of adjustment, and the unit starts burning more fuel to make the same heat. A clean, tuned boiler can cut that waste noticeably over a season.
A real tune-up is more than a quick look. We clean the heat exchanger and flue, replace the oil filter and nozzle on oil units, check the burner combustion, test the safety controls, and bleed the system so every room heats evenly. We also catch the small leaks and worn parts before they strand you on the coldest night.
